On November 23, 2025, at 6:30 PM, Pol. Lt. Col. Amorn Jaidee, Deputy Investigating Officer of Chiang Kham Police Station, received a report of a motorcycle accident involving a collision with the rear of a ten-wheel truck, resulting in three fatalities. The accident occurred on the road leading to a rice mill in Nam Waen Subdistrict, Chiang Kham District, Phayao Province. Upon receiving the report, he immediately proceeded to the scene to investigate, accompanied by forensic medical officers from Chiang Kham Hospital and rescue workers from the Siam Ruam Jai Phayao Foundation, Chiang Kham District headquarters.

At the scene, a motorcycle with license plate 1กณ 8269 Phayao was found severely damaged, and three bodies were found trapped inside the wreckage: a 34-year-old man, a 34-year-old woman, and a 7-year-old girl. Nearby, a 6-wheel truck carrying rice belonging to Mr. Wichit, a resident of Ang Thong Subdistrict, Chiang Kham District, was also found.
